Health Information Technology Deployment Specialists

Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc., a non-profit organization that operates Vermont’s statewide health information exchange, is accepting applications for two temporary positions in its Burlington office. The deployment specialists will work closely with members of VITL’s Operations Team, coordinating short-term interface deployment projects. These positions are for 90 days at full-time, with potential long-term part-time employment after that.

Successful candidates will have:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Organizational and time management skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently with little direction and handle a variety of tasks

·         Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook

Previous experience with electronic health record technology is a plus, but not required. College students with coursework in technical areas such as computer science or health management are encouraged to apply.
